VACANCIES:

Part time Receptionist

Contact: Michelle Pawley

Location: North London (Crouch End, N8)

Contract: Permanent: 12.5 hours per week

Salary: £7.50 per hour

North London YMCA is seeking to recruit a dynamic and experienced receptionist for the Harringey Club, based in Crouch End, London. The receptionist will ensure the highest level of customer service to users of the Harringay Club. The Reception staff will also be expected to assist in the smooth and efficient running of the club, and deliver an excellent administration service to customers and staff, whilst promoting a tolerant and caring environment.

We are seeking to fill two posts, covering the following hours:

Monday17:00 - 22:00
Tuesday 17:00 - 21:30
Friday 17:00 – 20:00


If you have strong administration and reception skills and are educated to at least GCSE Level in English or Maths, with a passion for delivering excellent customer service, we would love to hear from you.

Please note that as these roles require lone working on occasion, applicants must be over the age of 18.

Executive Assistant

Contract: Maternity cover, full-time

Salary: Circa £26,000

North London YMCA is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Executive Assistant to provide a responsible and supportive service to the Chief Executive and Board of Trustees. This position provides an opportunity for a person with the right blend of administration, organisation and interpersonal skills to join us at this extremely exciting time for the organisation.

The Executive Assistant will join the Senior Management Team to cover a period of Maternity Leave. Together with the Chief Executive, they will be an ambassador for the organisation and will often be the first point of contact for visitors. They will be providing a wide variety of complex and confidential administrative support to the CEO and Senior Management Team, communicating information to, and on behalf of, the Board to service users, employees and other interested parties. The role also encompasses a requirement to provide HR admin support to the CEO and our outsourced HR consultants

With experience of supporting a Chief Executive and Trustee Board in meeting an organisation’s aims and objectives, the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the provision of a high-performance culture that emphasises empowerment, quality, productivity and standards. A background in social housing and the third sector will be a distinct advantage, as will experience of working within a diverse organisation.
