Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive/HR Administrator

Contract: 12 months fixed term Maternity Cover (Full-time)
Salary: Circa £25,000 depending on experience.
Start date: 10th June
North London YMCA, formerly Hornsey YMCA, are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Executive Assistant to provide a responsible and supportive service to the Chief Executive and Boards. This position provides an opportunity for a person with the right blend of administrative and personal skills to join us at this extremely exciting time for the organisation.The Executive Assistant will be responsible for supporting the Boards of the Housing Society and the Charity in planning, implementing, directing and maintaining the activities of the organisation by providing a wide variety of complex and confidential administrative support, communicating information on behalf of the Board to service users, employees and other interested parties. The role also encompasses a requirement to provide HR admin support to the CEO and our outsourced HR consultants.
Together with the Chief Executive, the Executive Assistant is an ambassador for the organisation, and will often be the first point of contact for visitors.

Supported Housing Officer - Income

North London YMCA (formerly Hornsey YMCA and Hornsey (North London) YMCA Housing Society Ltd) are looking to recruit a dynamic, responsible and experienced Supported Housing Officer to manage the Income for the Housing Society.The purpose of this role is to ensure that our residents receive a high quality income collection service which displays a service-orientated outlook and attitude - with a genuine desire to go the ‘extra mile’ for customers. Portraying passion for helping people and desire to make a difference to their lives is key to the role. This role will require the post-holder to provide a proactive and efficient service for collection of rental income, service charges, housing benefit payments and local authority payments within a specified patch and to represent Hornsey (North London) YMCA Housing Society in any legal action for the recovery of rent arrears or other charges.
