Hornsey YMCA out-of-school services cater for over 200 primary school-aged children during term-time and over 400 children during holiday periods. Shown to improve children's social and educational development, as well as ensuring they receive healthy meals, these services assist parents who need extra time for work or training commitments.

All settings are registered with Ofsted and all its staff work towards maintaining these standards for working with children. All staff, paid or voluntary, will be assessed for their suitability to work with children via a check carried out by the Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) and 50% of its staff will be qualified to at least NVQ Level 2 in Play-work.
